Introduction
Welcome to QuixiCloud. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by QuixiCloud Data Storage Pvt Ltd. By creating an account or using our infrastructure, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Use of Service
QuixiCloud provides high-performance cloud storage and secure file transfer capabilities.
Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years of age (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) to use this service.
Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. We strongly recommend using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and strong passwords to prevent unauthorized access.
User Obligations & Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use QuixiCloud for lawful purposes only. You are strictly prohibited from:
Uploading or sharing content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or infringing on intellectual property rights.
Attempting to circumvent our security measures, including our Fail2Ban filters and Nginx configurations.
Using the service to distribute spam, malware, or any automated “bots” not authorized by our API.
Data Ownership & Intellectual Property
User Ownership: You retain full ownership of all data and files you upload. QuixiCloud does not claim any ownership over your content.
Limited License: By using our service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (e.g., generating file previews, performing backups, or moving data between storage nodes).
QuixiCloud Assets: All software, branding, and the Quixi OS architecture are the exclusive property of QuixiCloud Data Storage Pvt Ltd.
Network, Server Security & "Quixi OS"
Our infrastructure is built on specialized Quixi OS-based systems designed for maximum data integrity.
Advanced Protection: We utilize multi-level security, including real-time monitoring and automatic IP blocking for suspicious activity.
Storage Integrity: Our primary nodes utilize ZFS file systems with HBA controllers to ensure that data “bit-rot” is prevented and your files remain uncorrupted.
Abuse Reporting & Content Moderation
To maintain a safe community, we provide a “Report Abuse” tool on all shared file windows.
Reporting Categories: Users may report files for Copyright Infringement, Harmful Content, Spam, or other violations.
Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to suspend or delete any content or account that is found to be in violation of these Terms following an abuse report or internal audit.
Data Backup & Recovery
Plan Specifics: Automated data backup is a premium feature available only for Membership and Business plans.
User Responsibility: Free and Storage Pack users are responsible for maintaining their own secondary backups. QuixiCloud is not liable for data loss on plans where automated backup is not explicitly included.
Payment, Billing & Refunds
Subscriptions: Billing is processed on a recurring basis according to your selected plan.
Arrears: Failure to settle payments may result in the temporary suspension of access to your stored data.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled in accordance with our separate Refund Policy.
Infrastructure Disclaimer
QuixiCloud utilizes a mix of owned and high-tier rented enterprise infrastructure (e.g., AlphaVPS, Hetzner).
Service Availability: While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
High Demand: During periods of extreme network demand, we may utilize secondary “overflow” nodes. While these meet our high standards, minor variations in latency may occur.
Government Access & Legal Requests
We prioritize user privacy. We will only provide access to user data to government authorities if:
Accompanied by a valid, legally binding warrant or court order from a relevant jurisdiction.
We will attempt to notify the user of any such request unless legally prohibited from doing so.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuixiCloud Data Storage Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data or profit) arising out of your use or inability to use the service.
Service Changes and Availability
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.
- We strive to maintain a high level of service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
User Data Requests and Government Access
- Requests for access to user data will only be honored if accompanied by valid legal documents from relevant authorities.
- We prioritize user privacy and will notify users of any legal requests for data access unless prohibited by law.
Termination
- We reserve the right to terminate accounts in cases of misuse, violations of these Terms, or illegal activities.
- You have the right to terminate your account at any time. Termination does not absolve you of outstanding payment obligations.
Changes to Terms
- We will notify you of changes to these Terms via email or on our website.
- Your continued use of the service after any modifications indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, where the company’s operational headquarters are located.

Depending on your plan, you can share files ranging from 2GB up to 900GB. Our infrastructure is designed to handle large-scale data transfers without timing out, thanks to our optimized Nginx configuration.

Yes. We comply with both the EU GDPR Singapore, US and the Indian DPDPA regulations. Your data is stored in enterprise-grade data centers in India and the European Union.
Every public share window features a “Report Abuse” button. You can instantly report copyright infringement, harmful content, or spam. Our moderation team reviews these reports 24/7 to keep the platform safe.
We offer secure and flexible payment options for both our Indian and international users. We currently accept:
Razorpay & Instamojo: For seamless domestic transactions within India, supporting UPI, Net Banking, and all major Debit/Credit cards.
PayPal: Our primary gateway for international customers, ensuring secure global transactions in multiple currencies.
QuixiCloud allows you to monetize your contributions. You can set a “Point Value” for your shared files. When other users access your content, points are credited to your account, which can be used within the QuixiCloud ecosystem.
To prevent fraud and maintain system integrity, direct point transfers between accounts are not available through the dashboard. For corporate transfers or special requests, please contact our support team.
You can upgrade your plan at any time through your dashboard. We offer Activation Codes for promotional expansions and Storage Packs for permanent capacity increases.
Yes. We offer affordable monthly plans for flexibility and yearly plans for those looking to save up to 20%. Business users can also inquire about our 3-year “Infrastructure Lock” for maximum price stability.
Yes. Our backend facilitates seamless file management, allowing you to move data across different storage protocols and regions while maintaining detailed share reports for your records.
